David W. Fish: Perception Is Everything

People have spent thousands of what they have just to find the secret on how to make their lives better. Every day, these kinds of people increase in numbers more and more and sadly, they usually end up with disappointment because they fail to see the obvious answer to their question. There are probably many reasons why but they generally speaking it is because they miss or even intentionally ignored the fact that the way to lead a better life is to look at it with a more positive manner. In accordance to the famous Dr. David Wayne Fish California, people can learn how to be an optimist or a positive thinker through simple yet it can be tricky steps. These steps will require an individual to put in a little bit of effort, a huge amount of determination, patience and a sea of self-discipline.

The first step would probably be to put a mindset of being able to be an effective positive thinker. A person should learn to confident that they have what it takes to overcome the negative thinking. Though it may sound very simple, self-confidence or self-belief is the main factor in this certain step in the whole process. Just like what Dr. David Wayne Fish has stated: “Without this, people might not be able to change their outlook positively”.  The next step is for people to be contented with the kind of person that they are and the kind of things that they have spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Dr. Fish has stated a metaphor for this certain process: A person should learn to see that if all the missing things in his life are combined and can fill an entire ship then all the everyday blessing that they get is as wide and as deep as the ocean’s. Speaking on layman, the things that people should be thankful for is far greater than all the imperfection in one’s life.

Dr. David W. Fish’s next step is for people to recognize the importance of knowing how to counter think all the negative ideas that pops in one’s head. Once mastered, the next part is would be to know how to control and how to react think in certain situations. The last process is to learn how to laugh all the negative vibes away by doing fun activities and surrounding their own self with positive, happy and inspiring people.
